VOCATIONAL TRAINING
We at WBPDCL offer Vocational Training Facilities to the students of B.Tech and Diploma Courses in Engineering.
Sessions
We conduct Vocational Training three times a year as per the following Session
- 1. Summer Session for B.Tech Students
- 2. Puja Vacation Session for Diploma courses in Engg. Students
- 3. Winter Session for B.Tech Students
Special Batches
We also arrange Vocational Training Program specifically for Institutes outside of our regular scheduled programmes provided sufficient number of students/candidates apply in a batch.
Duration & Venue
The vocational Training is conducted for approximately 04 Weeks, out of which 02 weeks Simulator Training is Conducted in BkTPS, which is compulsory. As a part of the Training at BkTPS is compulsory, Accommodation is provided by us. Rest 02 weeks of the Training is conducted at BTPS, KTPS, BkTPS, SgTPP & STPS.
Fees
The Fees for undergoing Vocational Training at WBPDCL is Rs 6,000/- for B.Tech Students and Rs 4,000/- for Diploma in Engg. Students. The charges for Accommodation provided at BkTPS is included in the Fees.
How to Apply ?
Interested Colleges/Students may apply to “The General Manager(HR&A), Corp./WBPDCL”, on the letter of the College, duly signed and attested by the Training & Placement Officer/Head of Department/Dean/Principal/Placement Coordinator. The said letter may be scanned and emailed to
